Description:
The Atom 22 is a combo amplifier with a complete control panel (Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb, Master Volume), offering a very wide sound palette. The clean sound is crystal clear and deep up to the halfway point of the Gain knob before it starts to break up, offering bigger sounds, enriched with pleasant harmonics. Turning the Gain knob all the way up, you move towards crunchy, distorted sounds; if your guitar has humbucker pickups, you can get really full, creamy distortion at any volume!
The preamp section is taken directly from its big brother, the Supertone Special, so you can enjoy all the typical characteristics of the renowned Dumble amps: great dynamics, warm and smooth sound, very efficient controls and musical overdrive. The power section, with two JJ6V6 tubes and Master Volume, guarantees headroom for any situation: whether in the rehearsal room or on stage, there is plenty of power in reserve for any musical genre: jazz, blues, rock…
The speaker is a 12′ Jensen C12K, chosen for its magnificent efficiency, transparency and vintage tone.
The amplifier also features a tube-driven spring reverb, adding three-dimensionality and further sonic pleasure.
And all this in an easy-to-carry format, weighing in at only 16 kg!
