Description
This version of the Supertone Special has two JJ 6L6 tubes in the power section and Fender style transformers. The unique feature of this amplifier is an additional tube that acts as an impedance adaptor for the power tubes-all of which results in cleaner and deeper sound. It is the same circuit used by Mr.Dumble in his SSS, an amplifier famous for its killer cleans!
On the front panel are, in addition to the classic potentiometer controls, Bright, Deep and Rock-Jazz switches to sculpt the sound of your guitar. There is no shortage of the overdrive channel, always very rich, creamy and dynamic, just in the ODS Dumble tradition.
Black anodized, etched and painted aluminum panel; vintage knobs, B/W striped grille, polished aluminum trim and stainless mounting screws.
